Managing Guests
Adding guests
- Go to Guests in your event sidebar
- Enter the guest’s name and click Add Guest
- Each guest automatically gets a unique invite code and link
Invitation types
Oksyon supports several invitation types:
Single invitation
The default — one person, one invite link, one RSVP.
Couple invitation
For partners who share one invitation:
- When adding a guest, enter both names separated by ” & ” (e.g. “Ben & Bella”)
- Oksyon creates a single invite link for both
- Each person can RSVP individually on the same page
Group invitation
For families or groups of three or more:
- Enter all names separated by ”, ” and ” & ” (e.g. “Dana, Dave & Dee”)
- Everyone shares one invite link
- Each person RSVPs individually
Allow +1 and children
For guests who might bring additional people:
- Find the guest in your list
- Toggle Allow +1 — the guest can add a plus-one on their invite page
- Toggle Allow Children — the guest can add children on their invite page
Added +1s and children can RSVP individually through the same invite link.
RSVP tracking
Each guest shows a status badge:
- Pending — no response yet
- Accepted — all members accepted
- Declined — all members declined
- Mixed — some accepted, some declined (for couple/group invites)
RSVP cutoff date
To stop accepting RSVPs after a certain date:
- Go to Guests in your event sidebar
- Set the RSVP Cutoff Date field
- After this date, invite pages will show that RSVPs are closed
Sharing invite links
Each guest has a unique invite link. Click the link icon next to a guest’s name to copy it. You can share this link via:
- WhatsApp or text message
- Social media
- Printed invitations (the link works when typed into a browser)
Resetting RSVPs
If a guest needs to change their response, you can reset their RSVP from the guest list. This clears all responses for that invitation and lets the guest respond again.
